EVE Online assets and clone locations map

My Geography shows where your clones and assets are across New Eden on the EO-Map 3D map. Connect an EVE Online character, pick a section, press Load, and the systems where you keep things light up on the same starfield you already use. Nothing it loads ever leaves the page: it lives in that tab's memory, it never reaches EO-Map, and it is gone the moment you reload.

What My Geography shows

It is a panel in the Tools Library, on the Intel / Activity tab, with two sections: Clones and Assets. Each asks CCP for its own permission when you choose it, and each loads only when you press Load. Show on map turns itself on the first time a load succeeds, and after that your own switch wins. It is a desktop surface, because the EVE Online login is.

Clones

A character has one home clone and as many jump clones as their skills allow, and remembering where all of them are is a well-known nuisance. The Clones section answers it in one list. Each row names the station and the solar system, resolved rows get a mark on the map, and clicking one sends the camera there. A clone parked in a player-owned structure reads as Unresolved rather than as a guess.

Assets

The Assets section is your item list read as geography rather than as a spreadsheet. Items group by solar system, then by the location inside it. Expand a system to see its stations and containers, and expand one of those to see the items. Clicking a system row focuses it on the map.

Filter and search

Ships, Modules, Materials and Other narrow the list to one coarse category, read from the official static data rather than guessed from names. A search box filters by name on top.

Estimated total

A rough ISK estimate from CCP's published universe prices, with the panel saying how many of the items it managed to value.

Value-scaled glow

Each resolved system glows on a log scale by the estimated value sitting there, so an expensive hangar reads as brighter rather than as a blob. The glow wears your chosen EO-Map accent colour.

Map threshold

A slider that hides systems below a chosen estimated value. It changes the map only; the list and its totals stay whole.

Nothing in either section writes to your game client. My Geography sets no waypoints, and it cannot move, repackage or sell anything.

What it cannot tell you

Locations resolve against the pinned official EVE Online Static Data Export, which knows NPC stations and their systems but not player-owned structures. Anything sitting in one reads as Unresolved rather than being guessed at, and unresolved rows are listed on their own and never painted on the map. Asset Safety is shown as Asset Safety, without inventing an origin.

Values are estimates from CCP's published universe price data, average price first and adjusted price as a fallback, so some items carry no estimate and blueprint copies never get one. The totals say how many items were valued, so you can see how much of the number is real. It is a rough figure for reading a map, not a sale price.

Permissions, loading and where your data goes

My Geography asks for two permissions beyond the ordinary EVE Online login, one for clone locations and one for your item list, and only when you choose that section. Each is a separate consent on CCP's own pages, so the first login never carries them in quietly.

Granting a permission does not load anything. Opening the panel makes no personal request at all. Each section loads when you press Load, and not before.

What you load then stays where you loaded it. Your browser asks CCP directly, and the rows that come back, the systems they resolve to and the values worked out from them exist only in the memory of that page. They are never written to local storage, session storage or IndexedDB, never put in a share link, never attached to analytics, and never sent to EO-Map, because there is no server behind this feature. Reloading or closing the tab loses them, and so does logging out, switching character or clearing the panel.

The login session is the one thing that persists in this browser, and it is not the same thing as the data. The privacy page and the transparency report carry the full detail.

How to open it

  1. Connect your EVE Online character with the login control in the top bar.
  2. Open Tools Library in the left rail and pick My Geography on the Intel / Activity tab, or use the link below.
  3. Press Load in Clones or in Assets, approve the permission on CCP's page, then press Load once more.
  4. Read the list, or click a resolved row to send the map to that system. In Assets, filter, search and drag the map threshold.

Part of EO-Map

My Geography is one panel of EO-Map's interactive 3D map of New Eden. The same session plans stargate routes, shows alliance sovereignty, paints per-system activity and flashes live kills, so where you keep things and what is happening around it read on one map.

Frequently asked questions

Does EO-Map store my EVE Online assets?

No. Your browser asks CCP for the rows directly and they live only in the memory of that page. Nothing is written to browser storage of any kind, nothing is attached to analytics, and nothing reaches an EO-Map server, because there is no server behind this feature. Reloading or closing the tab loses it.

Does granting the permission load my clones and items straight away?

No. Granting is separate from loading. Opening the panel makes no personal request at all, and each section loads only when you press its Load button.

Why does a station show as Unresolved?

Because it is a player-owned structure. Locations resolve against the pinned official EVE Online Static Data Export, which knows NPC stations but not citadels. EO-Map never asks CCP about structures, so those rows say Unresolved rather than guessing, and they are never painted on the map.

How accurate is the estimated value?

It is a rough figure, not a sale quote. Estimates come from CCP's published universe price data, average price first with adjusted price as a fallback, so some items carry no estimate and blueprint copies never get one. The panel says how many items it valued.

Can it set a destination or move my things for me?

No. My Geography is location visualisation only. It sets no waypoints, and it cannot move, repackage, sell or contract anything. Clicking a resolved row focuses that system on the map, and that is the whole interaction.
