EVE Online regional economy map
EO-Map is a free EVE Online map that answers one player question: where did last month's official regional economy sit across New Eden? The source is CCP's Monthly Economic Report, published by the EVE Online Economic Council. These are delayed monthly region totals, not live intelligence and not alliance output. No account, no download, nothing to install.
What the map shows
Regional Economy is a Tools Library panel on the Economy tab. Opening it paints about sixty to seventy k-space region marks on the 3D star field. Closing it hides those marks and leaves Star Coloring, sovereignty and Highlight Region exactly as they were. It is not a Layers row, not a market browser, and not an alliance ranking.
- Default month is the latest published edition. As of this writing that is July 2026. There is no August 2026 MER yet.
- Default metric is NPC bounties. Trade, mining, production, destruction, loyalty points and mining volumes are also available.
- Marks sit on region centroids as hollow diamonds. Size and brightness follow a square-root scale of that metric’s peak across the loaded editions, so the strongest regions can be read from the map alone.
- A mark is a region total. If it sits near a star, the copy still says region. It is not the system where the ISK happened.
- Wormhole synthetic rows and Jove holes are not painted. A missing region stays absent, not zero.
Metrics and units
Each metric is one official published series. There is no combined economic score, and MER trade is not mixed with Market Supply listed depth.
ISK
NPC bounties, trade value, mined value, produced value and destroyed value. Mine, production and destroyed ISK use CCP's static-price methodology since September 2025.
Loyalty points
Official LP totals where the edition published them. Shown as LP, never silently converted to ISK.
Mining volume
Asteroid, gas, ice and moon volume in m³. That is volume mined, not the ISK mined-value series.
Trade and The Forge
Trade is the official published buy-plus-sell monthly regional figure. It is not current market orders and not Market Supply. The Forge dominates that series, so Hide The Forge is on by default for trade only. Turn it off when you want The Forge on the ranking and on the map. The toggle does not apply to bounties, mining, production or destruction.
Latest published edition, not live
CCP publishes MER as a news post plus a public archive, usually a few days into the following month. EO-Map serves a compact derived read of those editions. Your browser loads a pointer, then the January-to-July series, and then switches months locally. It never downloads the official zip. The panel says latest published edition. It does not say live, now, or realtime.
Selecting a region from the ranking scopes the MER marks and may centre the map. It does not toggle Highlight Region, recolour stars, or change Alliance Rankings or sovereignty selection. Region selection is session-local. A shareable link can land on a month, a metric, the Trends tab, or a short compare list: July 2026 NPC bounties.
The Map tab can play the seven published 2026 editions as discrete monthly frames. The Trends tab compares up to four regions as Absolute, Indexed or Share series. Indexed and Share are EO-derived from official MER regional totals. Missing months stay gaps.
What it cannot show
Regional Economy cannot tell you which alliance mined, ratted or traded. MER has no owner. It cannot show per-system ISK, live prices, or today's killboard. Destroyed value is the official MER destruction figure, not zKillboard performance. It does not paint wormhole space or Jove holes. January and February 2026 omit Exordium because that region is absent from those editions, not because its value was zero.
How to open it
- Open EO-Map, click Tools Library in the left rail, and pick Regional Economy on the Economy tab, or use the link below.
- The latest published edition and NPC bounties load first.
- Change month or metric in the panel. After the first load those switches do not hit the network.
- Pick a region from the ranking to scope the marks.
- On trade, Hide The Forge starts on. Turn it off to see The Forge.
Part of EO-Map
Regional Economy is one panel of EO-Map's interactive 3D map of New Eden. The same session can show industry cost Star Coloring, current alliance sovereignty, Alliance Rankings, Market Supply and system activity. Those tools stay independent. MER numbers do not become a sovereignty score or a rankings column.

Frequently asked questions
Are MER figures live?
No. MER figures are delayed monthly region totals, not live data and not alliance output. The panel names the selected month and the publication date when that date is present.
Does Regional Economy rank alliances?
No. These are official regional totals. MER has no alliance or coalition owner. Alliance Rankings can sit in the same session as context and does not inherit MER numbers.
Is this the same as Market Supply?
No. Market Supply is a daily snapshot of listed public sell orders for one item. MER trade value is the official published buy-plus-sell monthly regional figure. The two numbers are not combined.
Why is The Forge hidden on trade?
The Forge dominates official trade value. Hide The Forge is on by default for that metric only, so the rest of New Eden can set the ranking. Turn it off to put The Forge back on the map.
What does a mark mean?
A mark is a hollow diamond on a k-space region centroid. Size and brightness follow the selected metric on a square-root scale of the seven-month peak. Hover and the ranking name the region, not a nearby solar system.

Yes. Regional Economy is in the phone Tools sheet. Map and Trends tabs, month and metric controls, playback, the ranking and region selection all work there.
