EVE Online market supply map
EO-Map is a free EVE Online map that answers one player question: where is this item publicly listed for sale across New Eden? In the game client, market visibility is regional. Here the same public sell orders are painted as a cluster-wide picture from a daily market snapshot. It is not the in-game market and not a live price service. No account, no download, nothing to install.
What the map shows
Market Supply is a Tools Library panel on the Economy tab. Opening it paints the overlay on the 3D star field. Closing it hides the overlay. It is not a Layers row. Pick an item and k-space systems with meaningful public sell supply grow a corona around the star. Wormhole space is never painted.
- Search almost every active public-market item in the day's catalog, about 19k types.
- Recents for items you already opened.
- Coronas: stronger and brighter means more quantity close to that system's local best ask.
- Hide Major Hubs on by default, so Jita, Amarr, Dodixie, Rens and Hek leave the picture.
- Supply threshold drops weaker books of the selected type.
Search any item
The catalog is the day's active public-market types, not every item that has ever existed in the game. Type a name, a group, or a type ID. Recents keep the last eight you opened. A shareable link can land on a type: Tritanium is type 34. Changing items in the panel does not rewrite the URL, so the link you copy is the one you opened with.
Meaningful supply versus parked walls
The painted metric is quantity listed within 5% of the system's local best ask. An ask is a sell order. A huge parked wall far above that local best still shows in hover as total listed volume, but it does not dominate the corona field. Stronger, brighter coronas mean more quantity sitting close to the local best.
Hide major hubs
Jita, Amarr, Dodixie, Rens and Hek. Default on. Hidden hubs leave both the draw and the intensity scale, so hinterland shops can set the picture. Turn it off to see the hubs.
Supply threshold
Drops the weaker books of the selected type. One end is largest books, the other is all listings. The panel says how many listed systems you are seeing.
Hover
Selected type, local best ask as price times units at that exact best, quantity within 5% of best, total listed, ask count, and the honesty line.
Daily market snapshot
This is a Daily market snapshot: a collected public book from one day, not five-minute prices. The panel prints that label, the timestamp, and how many hours ago it was taken. After 30 hours the line ages. After 48 hours it is flagged stale. If a refresh is delayed, the last-known-good snapshot stays up rather than going blank.
The game publishes public market orders. EO-Map collects them once a day. The historical gzip is about 40 MB and is never fetched by the browser. A compact derived read model is served from snapshots.eo-map.com: a pointer to the current day, a catalog of the day's types, then one object for the type you selected.
What it cannot see
A normal market window in the client is the live book for the region you are in. Market Supply is a cluster-wide picture of listed public sell orders from one collected day. Use the client to trade. Use this map to see where listed supply sits. It is not a live trading terminal, not real-time prices, not a live ticker, not executed trades, not inventories, not cargo tracking, not a buy-demand map, and not a profit calculator. Structure sells are incomplete, so a quiet nullsec system often means no public NPC-station book, not that nobody has the item. Wormhole space is never painted.
How to open it
- Open EO-Map, click Tools Library in the left rail, and pick Market Supply on the Economy tab, or use the link below.
- Search for an item, or pick one from Recents.
- Read the overlay. Hide Major Hubs is on by default.
- Drag Supply threshold if you want fewer or more books painted.
- Hover a corona for the local numbers.

Market Supply is one panel of EO-Map's interactive 3D map of New Eden. The same session shows system activity, live kills, current alliance sovereignty and planned stargate routes, so a listed book can be read against how busy that space is and who holds it.

Frequently asked questions
Does Market Supply show live prices?
No. It is a Daily market snapshot of public sell orders, not a live price service. The panel prints the snapshot time and how old it is. If a refresh is delayed, the last-known-good snapshot stays up and the line ages.
Does it cover every market in New Eden?
No. It paints public NPC-station sell orders in k-space. Structure-market sells are incomplete, so an empty nullsec system often means no public NPC book, not that nobody has the item. Wormhole space is never painted.
Does it recommend arbitrage?
No. Market Supply is not a profit calculator, not a live ticker and not a buy-demand map. It shows where listed public sell supply sits, from one day's collected orders.
What does a corona mean?
Corona size and brightness follow quantity listed within 5% of that system's local best ask. A large parked order far above the local best does not dominate the map. Hover still shows total listed volume.
How often is the data updated?
Daily. The game's public market orders are collected once a day, compacted, and served as a pointer, a catalog, and one selected type object. The browser never downloads the historical gzip archive.
Does it work on a phone?
EO-Map itself runs in a modern mobile browser, but Market Supply is not in the phone Tools sheet. The overlay is built around hover detail that the phone host does not have.
